Delegation of the Qatar Armed Forces Joint Warfare Training Center visiting the NATO M&S CoE
Rome – A delegation of the Qatar Armed Forces Joint Warfare Training Center (JWTC) – DOHA, visited the NATO Modelling & Simulation Center of Excellence (NATO M&S COE) at the Cecchignola military base.
The visit is part of a broad cooperation program by the Qatari Defense with the world of Western Defense and the members of the NATO coalition: in this context, Modelling & Simulation (M&S) represents an essential tool for the Alliance to face some of its more difficult challenges.
The representation attended a presentation about the Centre, its mission and capabilities, and participated in demonstrations on the various research projects in progress.
At the end of the visit, Brigadier General AL-MOHANNADI Ali Abdulaziz, the “Military Representative” at NATO, thanked the Centre for the opportunity to visit and learn more about what the M&S COE is doing to support NATO, and expressing words of deep appreciation for the professionalism and collaboration shown by the staff of the Centre.
The Deputy Director of M&S COE, Lt. Col. Brad Koerner of the US Army, said in the closing greeting: “This collaboration represents the spirit of the Alliance for us. As a NATO Centre of Excellence, our focus is to support NATO, the Nations, and its Partners to make the Alliance stronger. “
