Cooperation with the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence
The first meeting between the NATO M&S COE and the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence (MW COE) representatives took place on 04 and 05 February 2020 in Rome, Italy.
The aim of this meeting was to investigate a possible cooperation, with a specific project in mind that will increase the alliance’s mountain warfare capabilities. Hence, the second half of the meeting, designed as a workshop, produced a very detailed roadmap that outlines the centres’ collaboration for the upcoming year.
In detail, the NATO M&S COE is looking forward to a series of conferences and workshops with the NATO MW COE and the Slovenian national Simulation Centre that will culminate in an experimentation event at the end of 2020.
