North Macedonian Defence Forces (Force Modernization & Transformation Command) visit to the NATO M&S COE

Rome – The North Macedonian delegation visited the NATO M&S COE at the Cecchignola military compound on 12 October.

Colonel Francesco Pacillo (ITA-Army), Director of the NATO M&S COE, received the North Macedonian delegation led by Colonel Goce Filiposki of the Armed Forces of the Republic of North Macedonia (Simulation Center).

The delegation attended a presentation about the Centre, its mission and capabilities, and participated in demonstrations on the various research projects in progress. Colonel Goce Filiposki emphasized the potential future cooperation with the COE as the two organization’s innovation efforts are similarly aligned.

The delegation’s visit to the Centre was a great opportunity to learn more about what the NATO M&S COE is doing to support NATO and what collaboration efforts can be explored in the near future.

The Director of NATO M&S COE, Col. Francesco Pacillo, closed the meeting by thanking the Colonel and his staff for the visit and for the special interest shown in our Centre.  Col. Pacillo summarized the outcomes by saying, “today we have new challenges in front of us and our Community of Interest needs to work together more closely to guarantee expertise and guidance in the M&S domain for the benefit of the Alliance”.
