14th NATO M&S COE STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING
The 14th meeting of the NATO M&S COE Steering Committee took place on 19 and 20 November 2019 in Rome, Italy.
The meeting brought together representatives from all the Sponsoring Nations of the NATO M&S COE – Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and the United States of America – plus a representative from Canada, a Contributing Partner to the Centre.
Topics discussed during the meeting included an endorsement of the a new organizational chart for the NATO M&S COE; a report on the Centre’s Program of Work results from 2019 and approval of the plan for the 2020 POW; and an update on the budget.
The Director updated the Steering Committee on other Nations and Partners who have expressed an interest in joining or collaborating with the M&S COE.
At the end of the meeting, the National Representatives were given a tour of the Centre’s laboratories and briefed on some of the Centre’s work in the fields of decision support, cyber and virtual reality.
The next Steering Committee Meeting will take place on 27 and 28 May 2020.
