12th NATO CAX Specialist Certification Course
The NATO Modelling & Simulation Centre of Excellence organized and hosted the 12th edition of the NATO Computer Assisted Exercise (CAX) Specialist Certification Course from 10 to 19 July 2019. The objective of this course was to prepare NATO and National CAX specialists to be part of a Response Cell for NATO exercises. The course was supported by the NATO Joint Warfare Centre, by the Italian Army Simulation Centre and by the Czech Simulation Centre.
This 12th edition of the course was attended by 23 military and civilian students from seven NATO nations. The course covered NATO’s Joint and Operational simulation, JTLS (Joint Theater Level Simulation) in the land, air and maritime domains; the JEMM exercise management tool; CAX process; exercise control and was capped off with a MINIEX to implement their knowledge and an examination to demonstrate it and earn their graduation certificate.
The NATO CAX Specialist Certification Course is an annually conducted course, accredited by NATO Joint Force Trainer as “NATO Selected”, and open to NATO and PfP Nations and Organizations.
